On page 34 it says:
"..So really you are risking $15 to win $55 plus $70, or $125. That s immediate odds of 125-to-15 or about 7.33-to-1".
How does "125 to 15" convert to "7.33 to 1"? Shouldnt it be 8.33 to 1? sorry if I m missing something here..just need clarification

basic math, what you do to one side, you do to the other, to get your "-1" odds, you get 125/15 as well as 15/15. this comes out to 8.3-1....wait to get 7.33 you need to subtract 15 from 125 which comes out to 110/15. or 7.33-1

And why do you need to substract the "15" here?

.. it's 8.33-to-1.. or 125-to-15... you invest 15 to win 125... It's a typo in the book. No more mystery to it.

Should be 8.33.

125:15 = 8,33:1. There's just no way around that. 125/15 = 8,33(or 8 1/3 to be exact).

It s the second time a find a typo in a poker book without even searching for typos specifically. It would be nice if they could proof read the books before printing them
the mistakes are a little confusing for beginners. and the books are expenssive
