I have been using a 24" monitor for some time now and want to upgrade.

I was thinking of getting another 24" monitor for a dual setup with my FT points or 2 19" or 20" ones to stand side by side of my 24" I already have.

Which setup would be better for a 6-8 tabling NL player?

2 monitors would be more then sufficient for 6-8 tables. I currently use 2 21" dell widescreen's. So adding just 1 more monitor to your current set up would be fine.

I use 2 17" non widescreen crappy ass monitors and 8 table on FT.

Thinking of moving over to 2x24"s in next couple of months. For tiling 2 monitors are the best.

you gotta make sure its the right resolution too. its not just the size of the monitor.

Not sure why you would need more than one monitor. Do you have low screen resolution?

The new monitor will be better as it is a Samsung but I can change the resolution to match the 24" I have now. I think they will have the same resolution setting and only go up to 1920x1200 but I will set them both to 1600x1200

Yea very hard to do this on a laptop lol. I only paid like $280 for the 24" I got from office max a couple years ago and it is still running fine. It's a Soyo btw. Also I just ordered the new Samgung 24" with my FT points so it costs me nothing except of course lots of rakeback that they deduct but I don't play on FT anymore for the time being so no worries. Just save up VIP points and get a monitor and for you PC get a good refurbished one from the internet with at least 1gb RAM for like $400 an you will be all set

I have standard resolution on my monitor. I just can't tile 6-8 tables without having to make the screens smaller and also the HUD gets clustered up a bit.

I seems like every hardcore grinder has more than 1 monitor, some have 3 and a big tv as well on the wall grinding away.
