hello... i opened a MB account like a year ago when i was playing FTP... so now i have exceeded my deposit limits and i can only deposit more money if i wire my bank account... i am wondering is this a good idea... i figured there must be someone out there who knows a lot about this stuff.. is it safe? or should i consider other payment methods.... thx
yes, moneybookers is fine, i've been using it for years (it's a uk service regulated by uk authorities). their email service is bad most of the time but they aren't crooks.
It is really good for moving money around from site to site. Their support sucks though. I got the run around for 2 months after the new UK money laundering laws (I`m not from the UK FWIW) and they wouldn`t let me cash out by cheque until they had multiple ID confirmations, which never got cleared up and kept going in circular emails.
I use it and havent had trouble so faw but I actually called them in December because i needed to re validate my account for some reason and from the conversation i had with the staff i got a really negative vibe. Like i said I havent had any trouble so far but a friend of mine said that apparently there are some posts on 2p2 where ppl have been hacked and had money stolen from their accounts.
