We had a good argument last night during our home poker game. See if anyone can help

Blinds 150,300, 3 players in hand

After flop player A bets 300 player b and c both call

After turn player A only has 30 bucks left and goes all in.

Question can player B and C only call the 30 bucks to see the river or do they still have to bet the minimum 300 to stay in sense they are both still in the hand? Both B and C have enough money to do so.

I said they had to still bet the minimum 300 and they said no, all they needed to do is call the 30 bucks sense they didn't open the bet and I got over ruled. I think I'm right but we'll see what you guys say. I wanted to play it like a big blind that didn't have enough to meet the big blind but to stay in all the others still had to meet the minimum big blind bet.

They can call, fold (which wouldn't make sense), or raise.

They can just call the 30

FWIW, 300 wouldn't be a legal bet in this scenario.

They can call 30 or raise to at least 330.

Thanks guys. Looks like I was wrong. I thought you would still be held by the minimum 300 bet requirement. Thanks for the info.

Where you may have picked up on this is preflop. If the SB is 150, and the BB is all in for 30, the bet to call is still 300.

that is all correct. however in limit poker there are some changes to that if the all in has half or more of the bet.

They can call 30. Or raise to 330+. Or fold but wouldn't advise this for the above scenario.
