March Beginners Bankroll Thread March Beginners Bankroll Thread

02-29-2012 , 07:20 AM
In February I was one tabling a lot. Just focusing on learning, studying the play at the table, putting the villains on ranges and making the right decisions. My goal for March is to move on to 4 tables and make just as good decisions.
02-29-2012 , 08:28 AM
wow being destroyed..

Down 5BIs Worst session yet..
02-29-2012 , 08:32 AM
Play lots of 15$ sits , finish the month in possitive obv, make more than 1500 vpps (1300 usually), and sadly say bye bye to pokerstars.com because next month probably will start pokerstars.es for spaniards

Gl all !

This segregation of player pools absolutely sucks..
02-29-2012 , 08:45 AM
Not heard about this? They segregating all countries? Should I know this already or am I being thick?
02-29-2012 , 08:49 AM
well france is segregated, and italy..dunno which others.
02-29-2012 , 08:53 AM
I live in france atm. Yeah it sucks. Poker rooms have to pay taxes on income, which translates to huge rake.

Belgium is like this too.

I think it is still better than having poker completely banned though.

Online poker seems to be struggling at the moment.

With the USA bans, FTP closing, Everleaf also banning US players, now segregation of players on the same site so someone else can dip a hand in ur pocket too? Not to mention all the players still waiting for their cash from FTP and now Everleaf sites.

Tough times. Unless u really are crushing medium stakes + I guess this will never be anything more than a 'fun hobby' for most people with aspirations of something more.
02-29-2012 , 09:31 AM
Canada seems to be a good country (for poker). I might move there next year.
02-29-2012 , 09:43 AM
UK is still good, altho I'm sure the $ signs will light up in the govt's eyes sooner or later!
02-29-2012 , 10:26 AM
March, bring it on!
Feb halved my bankroll because I didnt move out of 25nl fast enough. (live and learn)
ahhh 16nl my old friend.
02-29-2012 , 10:35 AM
Going to try bring my $70 bankroll upto €150 playing $1 SNG's and 2NL.
From little acorns....

Biggest aim is to keep learning and identify my bad points and fix them

most brutal day ever

6BIs down..

Incredible card dead and when I did receive cards everyone folded..and when I was in a large pot I was always behind KK vs AA, small PP flopping a set againast my overpairs

Put in an incredible 2k hands today with 6 tables just telling myself I'm bound to run into some cards and donating fish...never happened Even switched tables a couple of times...

Definitely a hit to my NL5 amibitions but I mustn't lose hope..just another day.

In

Goals for march are to actually beat 16nl, down 6bis there over 9k hands, was up 4 bi at one point so its actually more of a 7.5k hand 10bi downswing woo!! Only have 2bis left til I move back down to 10nl as well (although I have some rb coming from ipoker) so tonight sessions could be pivotal!

Micro millions?? Nooo...I was saving to play an event at ANZPT Sydney but those prizepools look way more tempting! Plus I'll be able to play all of them with the money I save for ANZPT.

Nah we're safe as houses. Gambling is so ingrained in our culture across all classes, no government would risk ****ing with it.
