1. They enjoy general footy but dont get wound up
2. Are hardcore fans and follow their team anywhere [ie relegation etc]
3. Are hardcore fans [until they start losing]
4. Know nothing so support whoever the no 3 support
5. Follow their team but can admit "**** we were shite"
6. Follow their team and every performance was a great one and only got beat due to the ref
Uniteds fans tend to fall into groups 3,4 and 6, which is why in general they are disliked.
A quick review of the united game would be
[ ] solid rooney goal
[x] keeper fluffs a rebound from rooneys head
[x] Neville gets away with a terrible tackle which should of been a sending off
[x] WBA own the pitch
[x] Worst penalty ever
[x] united scrape a win with a good header from a small man
TLDR FU united
Hmmmm, quite generalising that post
I would class myself as number 5 from that list, I can fully admit when we play crap. And yes, against West Brom we did play crap, however West Brom certainly didn't dominate
Neville should have got sent off and it was definately a penalty, but then again we should have had one later on in the game when their centre back handballed it from a cross (One of the most blatant handballs you'll ever see btw, ball travels about 15 metres, his arm comes out towards it, definately deliberate). So, going by your summary, I will give you my views
