Hello, just looking for some nice poker friends i can talk to for hand discussion/sweat session. Playing 4nl currently and breaking even over first 5k hands.

The fact you are new will make a lot of people uneasy. Also, sweat sessions are kind of a grey area in poker, jsyk.

Apparently he joined in 2009 and only has 15 posts...

So he's not serious about poker or 2+2

Making poker friends at 2+2 is easy, just be an active member and you will easily and naturally make friends...

But posting 15 posts over 3 years probably isn't the way to go about making friends...

This. If you are an active forum member you will get to know lots of people, and you will start to get an idea of whose opinions you trust etc.

TBH I don't very much like threads organising off site groups. On general principles, but also because it exposes BQ posters to potential scams.

I made the account a long time ago and I have just left it alone until now. since 2+2 was not opening registration, I remembered I still had this one somewhere so posting hands was possible.

I don't think sweat sessions are a problem as long as you are aware of safety and show no vital information on your computer, people watching and playing against you is a possibilty but at 4nl im not worried about it.

I would start off as just posting hand analysis'. Meaning, post what happened in a hand of you have questions etc.
I haven't been a member of the community for that long, but I already enjoy posting. I've made a few friendly acquaintances as well!

Allowing an unknown to view your screen while playing would not be the brightest thing to do. Personally I wouldn't let my own mother view my screen while I was playing. If you want to do a sweat session then view the table the person you are sweating is playing at and ask them about their play after each hand, there is zero reason to need to see holecards in real time.

BQ is possibly the friendliest place on 2+2 for hand / strat discussion, as mentioned just post hands here and as long as the question is sensible you will get heaps of good advice.

Yeah, I was puzzled by that a little. Except for when the site was temporarily down earlier this year, I'm not aware of any time when a new member couldn't register here.

i was in your spot earlier this year, started playing live alot more just so i could discuss hands cause my "normal" friends cant seem to understand poker and thats cool but i really wanted someone to sweat sessions with and be able to think on the same level as me.. never was able to find anyone, all the live players ive met have little to noidea about poker so i just stay active on the forums, im very happy to have found this forum because if it wasnt for some great advice and people going over hands i posted i probably would of gave up by now.

Idk, I think it is pretty cool to be able to discuss your hands among a small group. It may be easier to stay focused. I'd join if you are planning one

But don't underestimate posting hands here, too! Couple of times I started running horribly and the help I received was superb, really really helpful.

I've recently started to hangout here on 2+2. If there's some guys playing SNG's and MTT's on Pokerstars (started to play there 2 days ago) it would be nice to do some sweat sessions or get to know new people in the pokerscene.

The swedish pokerforums are pretty boring and the players arent as much outgoing as the US and other countries. Therefore it would be more fun i think and i would also improve my english.
