ok so i told myself i will read/study poker for a week w no playing.

i made it about ten hours. lol. i know someone can relate

My game was decent and i built my stack to about double. Then i started to see a major leak. paying people off. ill have a decent hand but not the nuts. two pair but flush on river comes. bla bla bla.

Im very embarrased to even post here, because i know there are some great players who may lol at my leaks. but i really want this thing. bad.

The question is...how do you tell if your beat? ironically i can tell easier online then in real life. live its a major problem.

I have read before it is in betting patterns, and tells.
I have trouble with both.

Since your playing cash games I recommend a book called Harrington on Cash Games. This books sounds just right to plug up those leaks your talking about. Good Luck.

the more experience you get the more you pick up.. im sure you have more experience online which is why you read them better

I play tournaments live and I've no clue about betting patterns.. lol... I just somehow feel if the guy is bull****ting me or not.
