I don't consider myself a higher level player, but I think these are the important skills I need to work on to improve:

1. Reading villain's ranges and playing patterns.
2. Adapting playstyle each hand to best defeat villain(s).

Honestly I feel like these are really the only 2 important parts of poker. Things like bankroll management and tilt control are just common sense, and I consider them separate from the game.

1. Learning to play position
2. Learn a solid TAG game (then become more Laggy if you prefer)
3. How/when to value bet
4. Tilt Control
5. Once you become a winning player, Bankroll management

not sure about the order but BR management is last

Some of the stuff's already been said.

I'd like to add folding to the attributes.

i think fundamentals are very wide!!!!... some of the things listed are the general things but i mean preflop game has its own fundamentals with which style your using... same with postflop and blind vs blind etc...

but yea most important ones off the top of my head:

bankroll management
hand reading
choosing a play style & know why you play it and the + & -
think of the $ as chips/bb/buy ins rather than money

This needs more emphasis! Learning when to fold is extremely underrated yet it would rate up with playing position in importance.

1. Range
2. Implied Odds
3. Bet Sizing
4. Position
5. Aggression

That's really all there is to NLHE. Bankroll management is extremely important too, but not really a strategy aspect.

+1

Learning to fold is tough. Its almost like an ego thing. But the truth is, once you learn to fold more, it starts to feel good (ty tommy angelo). Getting over the idea of "he cant have it" or the urge to just see, is huge imo.

its not tough if you are naturally nitty, some players have a harder time making proper calls than they do folding. i think it just tends on your personality.

1st (very minor)epiphany: TAG-style opening hand ranges
2nd epiphany: Outs, odds and equity
3rd epiphany: Position
4th epiphany: C-betting
5th epiphany: Fold equity

Maybe these aren't exactly metagame fundamentals but I consider these pretty important.
