ur graph on the original thread inspired me to play cash + tilting variance of SNGs.

this was my 1st 2 months of cash. started with $20 at 2NL than to moved up to 25NL with 4 BIs. I switched to 6max on the first tilt and around 80k full time 6 max. withdrew everything for bills except $100 which gave me 4 BIs for 25NL, time to grind. i left stars, VIP program sux for me..

1.) do you people play only NL2, or do you hit MTT's and SNG's also?
2.) If so, what size are those, and what's your br management?
3.) How many hours do you play per day in average?
4.) How many tables?

Gina I'd especially like to hear you

1) i strictly stay with cash
2) rule for BR management for cash is 20-25 BI, personally I prefer 4BI+ at the micro levels but don't follow me.
3) 3-5
4) 8 tables

1. I'm playing NL 2-10: depending on where the biggest fish in my DB are at the moment
2. Cash with an occasional tourney (strictly for fun)
3. 2-3
4. 4-6 depending on how I feel. If I don't think I'm playing well at 6, I immediately drop to 4. If I still feel like I'm off, I quit.

I play 2nL up to 100 dollars, and then I have the option to play 2nL deep or 5nL, and will play whichever games seem better then.

At 200.00 I either buy in deep at 5nL or play 10nL. I do this up to 500.00.

Once I have 100.00 in my account I'll allow myself to start playing the 36 man 2.20 satellites to the 100k. It's been a while, so I'm not sure if any better tourneys or satellites have become available.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell.

I'm sitting right about 64.00 right now. Don't ask how many hands it took to get there, but I'm running at a sickly 7ptbb/100 and my graph looks like a saw blade

Had a decent night, BR is up to $144 form $123 so 4 bi at the 5nl level. I only lost one big hand last night. I had AQo, raised from the btn, sb called, flop comes QJ3, sb raises, I re-raise, sb calls. Turn is a brick, sb checks, I raise, sb calls. A Q falls on the river, sb checks, I shove AI and sb calls and shows JJ for a FB. SB played his hand like a pro. I put him on Jx or KQ oh well my bad.

Bankroll at around $150, I suppose I best admit now cash is the way to go, although SNG's are good for mico bankrolls I think you need to move to cash as soon as you can. I am going to start playing cash games, probably 6 max as they are a bit more exciting than Full Ring, I will start out at $5NL and play at least 10k hands before moving up. Someone told me to play at least 10k hands at $5NL before moving up so you know your a winning player and then everytime you move up play double the number of hands so 20k at $10NL, 40k at $25NL etc...

Will play a minimum of 1k hands per day and post graphs at the end of everyday to keep myself motivated.

Had another bad night, roughly 0 for 10 on the 1 dollar dons. I don't think I understand proper strategy for those.

Currently at @ $40. Note to self: NO TOURNAMENTS, DUDE! Exception for the $0.25 sngs, those I seem to be able to handle.

For the Double or Nothing SNG's go into the STT Stratergy forum and there is an official thread with all stratergy's and advice in there.

Just put $100 on and started multi-tabling $5NL. Won $26 my first session. Is a $125 bankroll good enough to play $5NL comfortably.

Hokay, status of the current runup.

Deposited 20 Saturday (21.12 total)
Ran ok Sunday
Ran ok Monday
Got soul crushed Tuesday
Got salt rubbed in the wound Wednesday, with brief rally toward the end.
Ran ok today.
Pokerstars amount: 78.12

I'm running terrible though, so you can imagine the number of hands I'm having to squeeze in there at 8ptbb/100 to even see a dollar gain- it's heinous.

I checked it out, and I had a run of 24 pocket kings where only 4 won, and 2 were due to everyone folding preflop. My pocket Queens and AKo are both losers. It's not like I'm buying in full *approximately 50 to 60 bb's only*, and with the amount of action on these tables, calling shoves, or shoving myself is the correct play.

Now, if I could only win in those way ahead situations, or manage not to run into AA at a sickly rate, I'd be a happier girl!

As poorly as you appear to be running, good job with the $57 in winnings. You seem to have the tremendous amount of patience necessary to win at those levels. Good job.

Went back onto a site that i thought i had $40 on, after a day of trying to remember the password and having problems getting the reminder sent to my email... Finaly got to play!

Started off at 1 table 5c/10c 6 Max, was plodding along doing ok. Went from $20 to $25 in about 10 mins, made a silly call with a K high straight and 4 clubs on that board. I called his bet, he had A clubs and took the pot, put me down to $18.

Started up another table same stakes, went along nice, had some nice cards and was grinding the money up.

Then, the game wanted me to win. It took 5-8 minutes to go from $19 to $62. Out of 10 hands i had

6 Pairs (Pre flop)
3 Full Houses
Quads

Of course, having 3 pairs in a row (QQ, 10,10 which i folded, KK) When the rest come i thought "No one is going ot belive i have another pair, lol i couldnt belive it!)

Best was the pair of queens, flop came A, A, Q. Then a 10 on the turn, Q on the river. Of course someone had the Ace, i bet on the river, he went all in and i called

Another hand i had and limped in with was 10J, flop came 10, 10, J

Was great to have some luck like that, going to do the lottery today i think

Ran superhot last night and got bankroll to $150 but due to getting a red letter (oops) I had to withdraw most of it to pay for it, my fault obviously but I done it once so I'm back at $20 and change, lol.

I'll purge my database on PT and start again from $20 playing 1c/2c NLHE 6max, buying in for $1 and leaving if I hit $2.

Got around 1000 FPP's though from playing 50c/$1c Stud8 so will play a few sats with those to try and boost my bankroll, I know it wont mean alot for people with big bankrolls but If I win one it increases my starting bankroll by 50%

Couldn't be bothered with a long session today. Changing a few things in my game recently and I think they are adding BB/100. I still have to find the fold button more.

Month to date:

Looking to put in at least another 20k hands this month and pickup goldstar. Also moving to NL50 within 5k hands.

I dont think it is the fact that they cant deposit more it is just the point of grinding it out. I started with a FR that paid me .60. I have worked my tail off to get to $250
To me it was just the satisfaction of doing it that makes me smile.

BR is up to $160 after trying out a new game called Badgui or Badjui, can remember how it is spelled. Very fun game to play and it help break up the boredom that HM can bring, plus all you really need to do to win at the game is play tight. But it is a limit game so until I can play higher limits, it will take awhile to make any serious cash.

I dont think running hot could describe it, I won just under 6 BI's at 2c/5c in less than 400 hands.

I am putting in at least 1,000 hands per day so depending on how many tables I play it could range from 1 hour to 3 hours but not much more, might play for 6 or 7 hours on the weekend if I got nothing else to do but on avergae I'd say about 20 hours per week.

Started off the session today by open shoving some 2NL with GinaSD and some of the other bankroll builders.

Felt pretty good so took a NL50 shot by 4 tabling and seemed to be doing ok with adjusting but then I got cold decked (flush over flush x 2, 2 outed KK v QQ on the turn with 70% of the stacks in on the flop etc) pretty good a few times and went on tilt. Started up some more tables and was 10 tabling. By the time I had got it under control I was almost 4BI down. Collected myself and then started trying to play solid for the rest of the session. Wanted to try to get back to even before I quit so was a pretty long session. Really annoyed at myself for tilting because I feel it could have been a super profitable session had I not.

Anyway, here are the results:

Pretty gross. On a side note, 24 VPP until bonus from 25 billion reload, thingy.
