6bet shoving AQ... and called by AT

sick Lego
10-10-2008 , 02:30 AM
I just 1 outered some guy today.

44 vs 99

Flop: 4xx

Turn: 9

River: 4

All-in on the flop, though. It was near bubble in an SnG, that's why we were shoving. I ended up winning that one, too. I can't beleive I survived that, because I'd been bubbling terribly the whole day. Pocket pairs hitting boats or sets on the river all day.

I had that KK vs AA with almost 200 bbs as well. Sucks.

Pretty gross..most just standard suckouts.

The AJs hand.. I dunno if I'm 3betting an utg raiser without a read that he's pretty loose from utg, but maybe I'm too nitty.
10-10-2008 , 10:45 PM
I don't like how you played the AJ hand really. I think it's a kinda rare spot that 3betting an UTG raiser with AJ is the way to go. Other than that: blah, what're u gonna do.

Can anyone teach me how to make a video that isn't all blurry? Whenever I make one it gets way too blurry to read numbers/names when I convert it to a Windows Media player format. Making the tables bigger didn't help.
10-10-2008 , 11:17 PM
Yes, Lego make us a video!

Also, no clue how.
10-10-2008 , 11:45 PM
yeah i hate the way i played that AJ hand too but fwiw that was the last hand of the session so of course i was like on megatilt from going +60 to -60 by way of those 2 huge suckouts.

All-in with J5o and T3s at 25NL? Didn't know that level was such a donkey show!

Tough beats man, I feel for ya!
10-11-2008 , 12:52 AM
They were short stacks, so the shorties hardly mattered. The QQ shove wasn't bad.
10-11-2008 , 02:02 AM
Wild... I'd flat-call that $9 with AA every time to keep peeps in the pot... but it looks like it worked out OK

Yea....I'd flat the $9 too. No matter what you do, you look ridiculously strong. But flatting seems to give people the biggest chance to make a mistake.

W/e though. Can't really argue that shoving is bad.

Hell yea. I was really beating it up. Raising so many hands ... and you saw the hand right before it where I bluffed him on the turn. He just couldn't beat me at that table. I probably won like 90% of the pots that we were both in and maybe like 65% of the pots at that table overall. Plus I really think he was getting a little tilted by me minraising when it folded to me on the button so much. It was just crazy. Even so when he snapped my 6bet shove I thought I was in trouble. I had expected him to fold a LOT, not to call all too much but expected like 35% to 40% equity or so against a calling range. LOL. Guess I tilted him a lot more than I thought even.

That's gross. +1 for the buddy list though. Which btw ... anybody got a buddy list for Stars that works. SmartBuddy seems to not work anymore for some reason.

Raze, on the flop did you make it $299 in particular on purpose for some reason?
