Why would anyone display their PS VIP status?
I have found that fish react very strongly to VIP statuses, either by REALLY REALLY not believing you, or REALLY REALLY giving you respect. As long as you can adjust, it's to your advantage, imo. This is at SnGs only though, especially if you make ICM shove steals from LP, it's very useful because even if they don't understand ICM they give you more respect.

I know i need more volume. It's hard when you have a full time job though. And an internet connection that cuts out every 5 minutes. Also not playing more than 4 tables at a time doesn't help the volume much either. I can't concentrate with any more than that going on though.

Check this out. Most ridiculous beat ever. I had him beat the whole way even though I was bluffing.

Yeah I was trying to bluff at impossible situations, but I figured my bluff only needed to work a small percentage of times for it to be worth it.

I've had a few more gold hands that I'd like to show, too bad I don't know a stud converter but:

Guy must've thought this was stud8 or something.

I deposited $50 on stars a few months ago and started grinding at 2NL. Moved up to 25NL the other day and my first 2500 hands have been a horror show. I've watched a ton of Deucescracked videos, have a subscription to Stox and i've read a ton of strategy articles. I dont know why i bother though. I feel like withdrawing my BR and giving up.

I'm not saying i've played every hand perfectly (some where a downright mess) but i'm trying my hardest, feel as though i'm a better player than i was at 2, 5 and 10NL and i've been studying hard. I dont know what else i can do. I honestly cant remember how many sets my opponents have flopped against me (a rough guess would be 8) that have stacked me or almost stacked me. I just dont know how to combat that.

haha. the forum life of these spammers is to be measured in seconds or minutes!

whats this you say ozi, I dont see no freakin spam?

well thats the point, some of you are doing a nice job of hitting that notify mod button and since we have some mods/admins who oversee EVERY forum on 2+2 the spammer doesnt stand a chance.

anyway, as you were

no ty.

oh and btw we get an email saying theres been a notification which tells us who did the deed so we do know who is tapping that button (but im also sure Ice knows this this so this is more for everyone else). dont be scared to notify mods if you see a suspect post....we do get false positives and its no biggie really.

Lets have an event or a contest to get our poor mod an avatar. One that represents iykwim.

Ozi would you like us to do something like that on your behalf? We might run a special tournament with the winner creating/or choosing yer avatar. The only thing you would have to do is agree to use it and upload it when it is ready.

hehe.

well i wouldnt go overboard but if anyone wants to create a gif style avatar that has an australian theme that involves my favourite beer "Coopers Pale Ale" then go ahead and ill see if i like it. something like a big yellow coastal outline map of australia drinking a Coopers ale then with a speechbubble 'Ozi Ozi Ozi Oi Oi Oi' or 'shipit downunder' could work but like most things in my head it probably appears better than when it would if actually done

TBH who's gunna want to play a tournament just to get a chance to make me an avatar for which i'd probably just not use if i didnt like it? (Im not so foolish as to say that who ever wins said fictional tourney gets to choose whatever avatar they want for me without me having a right to veto)

Its Australian for "if you know what I mean" Sorry for the reference in an obscure language.

I was just hoping maybe we could all get together and fix our moderators avatar. We could make him even more famous on the interwebz than he already is. If you know what I mean
