Brady goes down game 4 Moss is old and retires after this year Patriots defense is old and weak, Jared Mayo are watever there 2nd year LB is has soph. slump

and I live in NE

I really hope you aren't one of the soccer fans in here then ("football") if you're complaining about baseball being watching the paint dry. And baseball is awesome.

I used to play soccer though ... that was better.

And I bet 10 bucks on Moss getting the most receiving yards this season. Also figure it's pretty much a lock the Patriots win their division.

Oh also ..... FIRST on third page.

Lol. Baseball is much more boring to watch than soccer. Its only slightly better live because you always get to drink lots of beer.

Yao is tall. The guy he's talking to is almost certainly taller than me.

You gotta be kidding me that baseball is more boring to watch than soccer. Soccer is so much more boring to watch than baseball. I'll admit that baseball is one sport that does get a decent amount more boring to watch if one of the teams playing is not your team (or if you don't have $ on the game) ..... but soccer is still more boring to watch.

And if you go to a baseball game the beer will cost you.

I've got the Somerset Patriots around here (Independent League ... kinda comparable to Triple A) ..... the tickets are really cheap ..... and the beer and wine is a bit cheaper than major leagues .... for someone who has a girlfriend who likes baseball it's a pretty good value and it's really not a bad night or afternoon.

Matter of opinion, obviously.

My guess is that you don't have a soccer team you call yours.

Soccer isn't marketed, supported, or played at the same level in the states. Those could all be factors too.

Baseball to me is the most individual of the team sports. Baseball has very little room for creativity.

I by no means dislike baseball, just think it doesn't compare to soccer or football.

no i played soccer in high school but I dont watch it besides world cup.....

and i will take that bet that Moss will not have the most recieving yards this season, Boldin and Fitzgerald will BOTH smoke him........hell he wont even have the most on his team that will be Welker.

Brady is over
Moss is Old
Pats defense is piiiitiful
Jared Mayo has soph slump
and just remember cheaters never win........

what is the avg age of the pats anyways 45?

fred taylor is just lol

so yes I gladly accept that 10 dollar bet that Moss won't be top reciever in yards.

Well I got I think it was 10 to 1 (though maybe a little more) on the Moss leading the league in yards received bet (When I said I bet that I meant I already bet that ... I wasn't offering you a straight up $10 to $10 bet on who led the league in receiving yards with me taking Moss and you taking everybody else).

But I'll take worse odds than the 10 to 1 if you want to bet on Fitzergerald and Boldin both getting more than Moss and/or Welker getting more than Moss. ( And I'll put up a larger base bet also.)

I played soccer too btw.

My father played soccer in college.

That statement means nothing. He's absolutely terrible. He was a good distance runner in school and that was his only credentials for playing on the field.

I'm bored at work. Looks like I'm going to be posting a lot more now that I have a job which I'm doing nothing for 9.25/hr.
08-14-2009 , 08:28 AM
Well the statement means that we are not completely closeminded ..... played it for a number of years at least. I really don't like watching it though.
08-14-2009 , 08:39 AM
I'm just arguing cause i'm bored.

It's pretty much a mix of playing pretty poorly.. having zero confidence in my game at the moment.. and the rare times those two things are effecting my play, I'm running like garbage.

On the plus side, I got a free $25 from bodog, tilted that down to $4.. and then decided to have a race with a friend to $200, with him starting at 135.. so far I'm up to 60, he's at 127... pretty sure I'm going to win that one.

I went over "what not to do on the computer" while in a certain computer lab. But I'm in a totally different place right now... And I think I am going to try it out. Idk. I don't have pt here... so maybe I should go the SnG route. Idk. lol whatever.

Gonna fire one up.

omg I can't stand playing poker on a single table on a single screen.

I want to multitask but then I can't see the action. I don't want to load more tables cause I don't want to miss much if I actually have to do something for work.

Life sucks.

Not really. I'm getting paid to play a SnG. Bwahaha.

Just got onto this and was going to start a private league, see its done and iv joined.

Prop bets on this??? Have to have gambool ldo.

Also years ago i didnt really care for watching FOOTBALL [its not soccer its football ldo] but now iv got into it i like watching it. Although tbh it is better watching with friends and drinking etc as opposed to just watching it alone.

Also i can imagine the USA leagues to not be as interesting as euro. You get all our retired players lol

mbn..I'm going crazy not having a job.. or anything else to do in this area really. I thought I had found a weekly pick-up game through some local rec. park thing, but it turns out the closest rec. place doesn't have basketball, and the closest one that does is 30 minutes away

Although there is a small chance I might be networking my way into a job at wachovia.. I meet with the guy early wednesday morning.
