Had a really bad week, and then I finished reading Getting Started in Hold 'em and read through the "Why You Suck At uNL: Part One" thread.
Ended up blowing through the modest amount of profit I had made for the month, but in the couple of days since then have turned things around and am now up $35, with a $5 bonus in as well.
Guess it pays to read through the FAQ posts!
Of course - it is a small sample size, and probably just variance on my side, but it's nice.

So I decided to have a look at 25NL Zoom FR. I played a short 250 hand session while watching a video (1-tabling). Made a BI but that's not the point. A few observations:
Well, seems like an easy printing machine? What are we all waiting for ?
Results: $3.50 pot ($0.16 rake)
Final Board: 9 6 J 4 3
Hero mucked Q T and won $3.34 ($1.64 net)
SB mucked and lost (-$1.70 net)
H2: I checked the turn because I didn't want to make the pot too big, betting 3 streets with TPTK on this board feels really thin, and it made the river call really easy
Rozzzz, h1 I think it's fine although calling the turn can be quite marginal between calling or folding, but river bet should be totally fine if he has a tendency to just double barrel and c/f shutdown river. H2 wp depending in villain though, if he was a average reg and would be firing 100% of the times in this spot then wp
Just had the weirdest session ever, sat on a table with two crazy guys, one on my direct left other on my right, and they both stacked of with one pair hands.
I lost 1.5 BI's to one of them, he had Aces just as I hit my top pair, great timing.
Do you think that the fish will call if i shove or bluff big?
Had to call that,i beat all the missed draws. I play aggressive game and lose pots like this, i guess i just have to deal with it when playing with unknowns.
River:($7.75, 2 players) 4 Hero bets $8.04 and is all-in, CO calls $6.31 and is all-in
Spoiler:
Hero shows T T (Two Pair, Tens and Sixes) (Pre 18%, Flop 10%, Turn 0%) CO shows Q Q (Full House, Queens full of Sixes) (Pre 82%, Flop 90%, Turn 100%) CO wins $19.45
H1: I'd definitely bet close to pot or slightly over it as his range is capped and he's not going to c/r the river; further, he might be scaredly trying to c/c Jx.
H2: Without a read that he bluffs his missed draws, I'd bet the turn and xb the river to maximise from any straight draws he can have - plus he should be c/ring a lot of his strong hands OTF.
@fishtankz:
I'd just call down vs small bets. Our hand has SDV, no need to turn it into a bluff. I also wouldn't cbet this board vs a fish with SDV.
@tarkyo:
H1: You need to consider what ranges people are 3betting to a greater degree postflop. It's unlikely he's 3betting wider than premiums in this spot, so the river jam won't get called by worse. You just fold out AKhh and JJ - the latter only if you're lucky. I think c/c the turn, c/f the river is fine.
Well I thought a check raise would indicate a set or maybe a low straight.
The correct way should be pushing him all in on the turn right? The reason I check raise AI on the flop because I got open ended straight draws and chances of hitting a set too.
No man, just call the flop and play for implied odds. You have basically no fold equity (people DON'T fold overpairs, especially not the sort of person that opens it 6x), so don't give them credit for being able to hand read.
Bit of a sucky day. One of those days when nothing goes right - KK < AK, AA < KK, straight < set etc. Now running 6BI under EV at 25NL and 1BI under EV at 50NL. Lolloseallflipaments.
What TDA sais, no fold equity, no chance of getting him out of the pot
Just played a drunken/tilting Russian guy, who lost around $60, he just shoved terrible hands and also spew his gal in chat. I used google translate and had a pretty fun session, though I was waiting and waiting for good hands and finally this hand came along

Had to gamble a bit to end the day in profit. Nl2 6-max zoom. Trying out a new style.
Kinda misplayed from PF to river but always fun when this happens. And it won't happen again PokerStars - $0.02 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players Hand converted by PokerTracker 4
Well i was playing 17/14 before. I started omaha and started to understand position more.
Can't be a nit with scared money, like the zoom opponents are. So it's basicly small ball with almost ATC IP. Raise and watch them fold.
@TDA
h1 was terrible and at the end of the session where i was losing focus. Still good to get paid in some of these -EV spots, knowing that i won't make the same mistake again.
@Shiva
River bet was too big in h2. If villain had more SD value than us we are giving away free money.

Well yea, I'm just wondering because I am having some dilemmas from time to time with the AXo and suited cards both OOP and IP, I was told to fold when someone raises the pot (and raise unraised pots) so that's why 3betting like that PF looks weird to me. What I want to know is what I should do
