I would have never played Play money games or Micro ring games.

I would have saved a BR from my live game winnings instead of using it as supplemental income.

I would have deposited $1k online and started 25nl or >.

I have picked up some REALLY REALLY bad habits from playing micro ring games.

Get coaching, watch more training videos, play more deep stack cash... instead of tournaments live

I would of played according to proper bankroll management. This would of meant I would have gone straight to 2nl or 5nl instead of 25nl.

First deposit: $100 straight to 25nl
30 minutes later 2nd $100 deposit straight to 25nl
Rinse and repeat I do not know how many times.

Not make a ****ing 15$ first deposit and throw my PS bonus to waste.

Not waste my time playing playmoney.

Not waste my time playing SnGs for so long.

Jump straight into cash games.

Rakeback on FT. I'm a Mac user and when I started playing online the only option was PokerRoom. PokerRoom unceremoniously pulled out of the US after UIGEA passed and the only other option for Macs at the time was Full Tilt. I was focused on simply getting my money out of PR and into FT while I still could (ah, the days of Neteller), and didn't know what a mistake I was making by not looking for a rakeback affiliate.

Signing up right away for a bunch of sites and then thinking of a cool poker screen name afterwards that I can no longer use now.

- Don't use my whole 30$ roll
- Signing up to the majority of poker sites to try their UI and at the same time forfeiting a lot of bonuses i didn't know about.
- Never multi-task while I'm playing
- Don't brag about my gains while I'm still a newb, most of the time it bites you in the ass.

Thank you guys!
I'm relatively new to poker, and find some of these answers interesting.

Make better quits and avoid trying to recover losses on blackjack.
I would also have invested my winnings a lot sooner.

Regarding pure poker knowledge, I really dont know.
Its not that easy to make big money.

'bout time someone mentioned Blackjack.

This is the biggest source of my losses over the years. Have blown multiple bankrolls in 10 minute sprees, watching myself lose 17 times in a row in blackjack while steadily increasing my bets.

- Learned to count to 10
- Learned my ABC
- Got glasses for my awful site (deuces look like aces on the ipoker minitables)
- Try my best to actually remember during play that there is 52 cards in a deck (my edge)

I think thats it.........eeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh
