When you're bluffing a river, part of villain's folding range is his missed flush draws. So you don't want to be blocking those. e.g. If you want villain to have two random spades, and you expect him to fold them to a river bet, you clearly don't want to be holding spades yourself, since that will greatly reduce the number of spade combos he has. If you block his missed draws, that means he's more likely to have a made hand that calls. Conversely, if you have a random JT with no spades, that makes it more likely that villain does have spades, so he's more likely to fold to the bluff.
Whatever happened to this guy?
