so iv never got into uni or anything now. all options are closed for this year. Maybe next year. Now im at a point where idk wtf to do.

Iv got back problems that my job isnt helping ie heavy lifting moving, bent over welding most of day etc. but i cant afford to leave my job :sigh:

One foreign guy at works says im mad for staying here, i should save up enough for a plane ticket to somewhere and just ****ing go. Have enough for a few weeks rent etc Now that teh gf and I are finished iv nothing really stopping me as i was waiting on her to finish uni before i would move. But idk what to do. Have no friends anywhere that i could move to. I suppose i could always head somewhere, get bar work and grind poker for RB for extra $$$ for a year and then come back next year in time for a new uni course and a few weddings of friends and family.

If it wasnt for the wedding of said best friends and brother id just move to the states as i know a guy there who would help me out but i dont wana outstay my visa to come home and never get back in.

Crazy, how old are you...25? What do you want to go to Uni for? If it's something specific then cool, if not then it's possibly a potential huge waste of time imo.

Going abroad is way less of a risk or difficult thing to do than you think it is. What it can limit is what you do when you come back to Ireland a year or to later. It depends whether Ireland is long-term though.

If you ever come to London you can always saty on my couch. With my Man Utd duvet.

If that's how you feel about your job then you should seriously get the **** out of there. Moving abroad isn't as difficult as you think it is, but don't go to the US without a visa. Basically you are SOL if anything happens and you are an illegal alien.

If you are just looking to get away right now just stay within the EU and you can always work on getting a visa for the US if that's what you want. But right now just jump on a plain and go be a bartender at Tenerife or something for a year and get into a college next year if that's what you want.

One thing is certain though, you can't stay in a job/profession that you hate when you are 25 and do that for the next 40 years. That'll **** everybody up. You are still plenty young to change this for the better so you better go do it for your own sake.
