How important is the ability to play multiple tables?

Currently playing microstakes and I noticed I am a decent winner when I play 2 zoom tables but a decent loser when I play 3 tables. I play a lot more loose, make spewy bluffs, and station rivers. How important is the ability to play multiple tables when you start to move to legit stakes (100-200nl)? It seems like there are almost no regs that only play 2 tables at a time.

hourly rate > win rate
so if you're 10bb winner at 2 tables but 5bb winner at 8 tables you should play 8 tables
of course if you're consistently losing at X amount of tables over a decent sample size, drop the # of tables
also, if you're making spewy plays at any table, doesn't seem like a table issue but moreso a discipline issue

it's not important at all
if you can get really good at playing just one table and move up to 2000NL, you'll be fine just playing one table
you'll get used to playing more tables quick enough
it's a lot better to play less tables when learning, since you'll improve much faster
it's even suggested to play few tables while learning or even all the way up to the nosebleed stakes to keep improving your game

When moving up, and not, one should play as many as one can handle with an optimal skill or learning rate, so to say, as long as the time/energy factor doesn't say otherwise.
You won't get in twice the hands by playing two fast tables, and so on, as you won't be fast folding as fast as with fewer tables, so when learning, it doesn't matter all that much, mostly depending on learning per hour.
Playing worse at some hands isn't all important compared to learning per hour, that prefers more hands per hour even if the quality is some worse, as long as one learns more per hour and doesn't get too broke.
You beat more or less of the rake vs. players who play more tables. They are kind of not there up to at all when thinking about your profits.
Very important only when making serious money and not really moving up further.

Playing fewer tables and thinking more deeply about your decisions is a better way to improve than learning to play slightly profitable b-game on more tables. This is true throughout stakes. Volume should only be a priority when you're focused on maximizing short-term hourly for a specific goal (ex. if you know you're beating your current stake and just need a bit more of a roll to shottake the next one).
Learning to masstable or 4table zoom well isn't so important.

as you add tables your edge goes down in all the other tables. maybe or maybe not enough to change your win rate down.
each person will have an amount he can handle.

when adding tables you have less time to learn and less time to figure out your opponents. which of course equates to smaller ev from each table and your rate of improvement.
that leads to you maybe never being able to achieve a high level and high total expectation.

For myself It's not important at all. I only play 1 table. I play to win the mtt.
