Hi everyone,

I'm a HM2 poker tracker user. I want to buy apple macbook for poker. I know if you want to use HM2 in macbook you have to install either Parallels or VM Ware Fusion. Please advise, if I'm wrong.

My question is, what is the battery life for using macbook playing poker? Thank you for reading.

I play on a MacBook and get hours of battery life out, 6+ hours.

I actually use PT4 with my MacBook but run parallels on a work MacBook - I don't use this for poker but your battery life is going to be seriously reduced as a result of running.

Any significant reason you're looking to buy a MacBook for poker? Or is the MacBook for another primary reason?

Sorry my bad of saying no ultrabook from asus. Friend of mine show me a asus 15 inch model.

I have a macbook air and yea about 6+ hours multitabling sounds about right. Also the only compatible huds for mac are pt4 and poker co-pilot as far as I know. I personally use pt4 but yea to run hm2 you need to download that virtual pc environment thing. Also I don't think there is a zoom hud anywhere for a mac so if you do play zoom then you should get a pc. That said I don't recommend a mac for serious poker players, I've run into many poker related problems on my mac and like 90% of poker software isn't compatible. For poker players I recommend pc, jftr mac does have its pluses but none of them are for poker.
