Round 3 (round 2 was me killing them last fall with some powder)

I have a small bit of field next to my house.. and there is a bunch of trash in it left from the previous owner. So I decide I'm going to go out and pick it up before going to the dump. Everything is going fine..just about done.. I pick up an old paper bag while looking at my phone at the same time.. start replying to a text with my left hand and all of a sudden my right arm starts burning. I look over and I have at least 100 fire ants covering my arm.

Now for those of you lucky enough to have never encountered fire ants, what they do is bite twice. The first bite is just a little pinch that lifts the skin.. this is what burns.. and the second bite is them biting the **** out of you. So far, at least on my arm, it seems like I was lucky enough to get most of them off without giving me the second bite.. however while I was worrying about the ones on my arm, a few got to my feet and a few got to my hip and back.

FML i made a pile of changes last night and it didnt save right i had like 4 min to make all the changes, got them done but i never got my starting line up/captain done and i think i have a pile of passengers on for this week and some **** captain.

I'm in the +10 bit so I guess the kick off is 4.30am, Ozi is in the weird 30 minute bit.

At the moment it is cold only getting up to 19-20Cmax which sucks because everything is designed for the heat.Things like my house is set up so that not much in the way of sunlight actually gets in making it about 5-10 degrees C colder inside than outside.

Then I go to work and the trains I drive have good A/C but crappy little heaters so you have to turn the hot plate on so that you don't freeze at night.

Its basically all the opposite problems I used to have in England on the odd occaisions we had some hot weather.
