I am kinda unsure of what the EV $ stat is in HEM (obviously EV projected winnings when All in). Now shouldnt you have a higher EV $ Diff if you go all in with a hand of higher equity than your opponents every time? I am just confused of how this stat is being calculated because (for example) I go all in PF with QQ against AJ (I have 71% equity) and I win a $5+ pot but my $EV Diff. is -$3.50. How is this possible?

Thanks for the help!

It accounts for time you lose. If you lose its +29%

It means that you ran $3.50 above EV which you did

I'm sorry, I still don't get what this means. How can it be - ev when I have higher equity?

If the pot is $100 and you go all in with an equity of $80 and win the pot, you win more than your equity. What you "should have won" is $80 - what you do win is $100 - thus you're $20 above what your equity should have been and your EV $ Diff will show -$20.

If you go all in pre with Aces against Kings, for $100 each, then your equity is about 82%. 82% of 100 is 82. So if you win the pot you make $100. So holdem manager will say uv ran good for $18. If u lost the pot then Holdem manager would say you ran bad for $82.

So in this case the EV line on my graph will go down $20??

Edit: Or would it only go up 80 instead??

It would go up by $80 while your 'money actually won' line would go up by $100, showing that you're $20 above expectation for that hand.

Yes, your real winnings graph goes up $100, but the EV graph only goes up $82. So you ran $18 above EV.
