Help Do these Hands Qualify For Bad Beat Jackpot Help Do these Hands Qualify For Bad Beat Jackpot

Hypotetical Situation. Bad beat jackpot states: Players must use BOTH HOLE cards and that Aces full must be beat by another Aces full or better. Aces full of deuces can be beaten by Aces full of treys and so forth.

The board is 8AAA9

Winning Hand: AT

Losing Hand: 99

Would this qualify for a bad beat? Even though there is a nine does the losing player's hand count if there is a 9 popping up on the river?

Thank you for the clarification.

KK, QQ, JJ, TT still beat you btw - the 9 on the river changes nothing. So it's not that much of a bad beat - obviously depends on how the action went though.

to qualify for Most bad beat jackpots ive seen you need to have quad 8s or better cracked sometimes lower but its usually always quads.

House says that the River: "9" makes the player with pocket nines use the 9 on the board and one of his hole cards thus forfeiting the jackpot qualifications? Is this legitimate? This is my question.

no it doesnt imo. winning hand isnt even full house

It is legitimate, since you don't use both your hole cards. Can't be clearer than that.

Winning hand has to be aces full or better. I think that a quad is pretty reliable.
