yeah, I guess the tables are bound to get bad as we get closer to the end.

Anyway, I'll be going in there to rail and play some cash at non-bad tables. If anybody else is in there look me up.

I'm seriously considering going for the final table, but we'll have to see how these installs go 1st.

David, David, David, what were you thinking?

Good job you can play poker!

Where's David? All I can see is the girl.

Tweet Update from David:

"Played some pot with guy to my right, down slightly. 200k pot vs juanda where I 3b and 2 barrel him on Q high w fd, turn completing flush"

Looks like he still has the lead, but we won't get a chip count until the next level.

I'm off to hit the server with a really big hammer, so I won't be updating for the next half hour or so, so prepare to wear out your F5 keys...

<edit> only about 80 left.

According to pokernews he is sitting at 1.6m with 81 left. Has a massive chiplead. Im really FML'ing not buying action

but still hopes he ships it. would be ****ing epic

edit: you london guys should be down railing imo. I know i would. Im meant to be outside working and keepcoming in for "a drink" just to get updates lol
10-02-2010 , 10:44 AM
I'm back, looks like i need to buy a new server...

*looks at hammer*

Chip counts haven't been updated in ages on either Pokernews.com or the Pokerstars Blog, so while I'm sure he's still in the lead, not sure by how much.

Crazy, I think at this point, we're all hoping he ships it.

Update from david's twitter Account:

"Oops. Got about 1m"

Not the best news, guessing he got it in behind and didn't improve. I'll know more when the blogs update.

from the Pokerstars Blog:

"Vamplew steps in the Brown stuff
He's been runaway chip leader for so long, but now David Vamplew has fallen back into the chasing pack after doubling up Jamie Brown. Brown himself now looks to have taken the chip lead.

The board was showing T♠2♣5♣2♦, Vamplew had checked, Brown made it 122,000 and Vamplew moved all-in - insta call!

Brown: T♥T♣ for the turned full house
Vamplew: A♠Q♥ for ace high.

Vamplew hit his ace on the river, but it was too little, too late. Vamplew down to one million, Brown up to 1.2 million."

Bugger...

But he's still got a nice sized stack

<EDIT> Stack standing at 950,000 according to Pokernews.com

10-02-2010 , 11:24 AM
Another Tweet from David, better news this time:

"Busted benny spindler 120k pot got about 1.1m"

The force is still strong with this one...
10-02-2010 , 11:45 AM
Tweet from david. Those who are squeemish may want to look away:

"T9hh<Juandas AQ on A76hh. Got about 600k or so. Moved table, hachem on my left"
10-02-2010 , 12:25 PM
According to the latest update on Pokernews.com, David is now in 11th place, with a stack of 590,000. Looks like only 57 players left in.

GO GO DAVID!

More Info on david from Pokernews.com:

"Meanwhile Bruce Atkinson has doubled up with JhJs through overnight chip leader David Vamplew's 4s4c on an 6hAsQc9d5s board. Atkinson moves up to about 250,000."

David probably down to about 485,000
10-02-2010 , 12:57 PM
My Guess on his stack size was out, according to his twitter:

"Grinding small pots got about 650k"

Good Luck David!
10-02-2010 , 01:20 PM
Another Tweet from David:

"683k, 47 left."

Avge Stack is 541277

That guarentees him £15k, and hopefully a lot more. Currently on 15min Break.

You just want to win this thread. I take this as a personal affront.
