Your thread was within the first half dozen in the forum. There is zero need to "bump" your post. As for your question, give an example of what you mean as what you have asked makes zero sense

If the flop is T94 and you have QJ, you have an openended straight draw with your 2 cards.
If the flop is T98 and you have Q5, you have an openended straight draw with 1 of your cards.

Close, but he's asking about gutshots, not open enders. And your second example actually is a gutshot.

I don't use Flopzilla, so I'm speculating, but my guess is:

f the flop is 984 and you have QJ, you have an gutshot straight draw with your 2 cards.
If the flop is T98 and you have Q5, you have an gutshot straight draw with 1 of your cards.

In either case, the 2 card draw would be better to have than the one card draw, because making the one card draw will show a scary 4-card straight on the board.

I was doing it quickly - obviously I meant for the T98 to have J and something else. But it is the same principle. My bad.

Does *2 card* mean on the flop with 2 cards to come and *1 card* means on the turn?

The other reason the 2-card draw is stronger, in this case anyway, is it's a draw to the nuts. When you make a one-card straight it can never be the nut straight unless it happens to be broadway.
