Beginner here trying to learn how to profit in microstakes. Got recommended Grinder Manual, but its from 2016 and Ive heard poker is evolving fast. Is the book outdated, and if so do you have other recommendations for learning to beat microstakes?
Thanks

Why would you think it's outdated, and what changes do you think have happened at the micros since its publication to make it that way?

Well, Cuvi, while I started playing poker 20 years ago, I am also trying to improve my game and learning more advanced poker concepts while playing at Microstakes, although I am playing primarily Full Ring MTTs. Maybe you could benefit from reading some of my posts, since I both discuss theory and refer to articles, videos and other study material. They are primarily about learning how to "play range". Also, you can follow my Study blog here on 2+2, where I will occasionally be posting updates about new things I am learning: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...94/?highlight=

Enjoy your poker study journey!

I am assuming you are referring to this guide:

My criticism is that it is only for cash games, and only for 6-max. This means that the concepts it contains eg ranges, won't apply to Full rings games, nor SNGs or MTTs. Also, none of the pros who I saw playing cash games were playing on normal games, but on Zoom games, and this guide isn't about Zoom games. But if it covers your game, maybe it can help you through learning the basics.
