Hi! I am new here and trying to find some answers really. I have played some live poker with my friends and also online poker over the last few years, but nothing serious (had no clue about pot odds, EV etc). Now, ~week ago I decided to start learning poker seriously and play it online regulary. So here we go:

I deposited $200 to PokerStars and started playing NL5. I've read that it is normal to play with ~40 buy-ins in every limit and altough there is 10-12,5 buy-ins in NL5 I decided to buy $5 every time I sit in a table. Is this reasonable?
And when would it be normal to try to move to NL10? Bankroll of $300-$350 maybe?

I also bought HEM 3 days ago and have played ~3300 hands with a profit of $33 - so far so good I quess. Altough I know 3300 is very small number and doesn't show almost nothing, but still. I try to play aggressive style hence VPIP/PFR = 14,9/11,5 and I figure it is the way to go.
Any advices and feedback are more than welcome.

NB! Earlier I saw a thread about micro limit players comparing hands and asking advice about particular hands and plays but can't seem to find it anymore even thru the searching engine. Any ideas where it is?

which game do you play? 6max/fr? no limit?

I play no limit full ring.

I would also like to ask where can I post some hands I'd like to analyse? Can I just make a new thread in No Limit Micro Stakes FullRing subforum or is there a bigger thread for that kind of thing? I have quite a lot hands I'd like to discuss ... And how do you post those hands from HEM to this forum?

that subforum would be the ideal place. remember though, you can only post 2 hands per day in the strat forums.
