Friday nights at the micros

I always hear talk about how profitable Friday nights are because of all the drunks and people playing for fun. Personally I find it's not the case, it's probably my least profitable time/day for poker at NL10.
I wonder is because at NL10, there's a far greater disrespect for the money because it's such a little amount to most people. I find myself rarely in a HU pot playing 6max tables, at the very least 2 others chime in with VPIP's of 70+, or you have two or three maniacs at each table.
I'm not complaining at all because this is generally good, but it ends up being very swingy.
Is there the same craziness at higher stakes on these nights?

I think a lot of it is being able to pick the right spots for steals/re-steals, and also the patience to wait for big hands which you generally tend to get paid off with on such loose tables. Unfortunately i'm normally one of the ones drunk and playing poker on these occasions (well until recently, now i just get in from the pub and start playing on gears of war instead :S), not an entirely constructive reply......but it's friday and i've been at the pub

I would not bother trying to pick spots for steals/resteals at this level. Play your cards, bet big hands strong. If you get a walk on the BB with Q4 and flop comes Q high and there are a few limpers, get ready to muck your hand.
Sry, just noticed you were on 6max, I was talking about full ring
