News flash bro: If you had to post this hand there is no way you are decent enough to be a winning LAG(Fact compounded by the way you played it). Most likely you WANT to be a LAG because you think it's cool but you are just a Lag-fish/aggro-tard. Learn to play a winning TAG game first then as you gain more experience/skill your game should open up naturally. Don't force that **** bro, there's not shortcut. Study study study and millions of hands you might get there one day.

Depends on stack size.

In response to that earlier post, yes with 1000 bb you might be weary of calling (especially against a good player who SHOULD be pushing the nuts some of the time) If you have less than 50 you could simply shove preflop and save yourself the trouble of dealing with the flop. However, the rake makes this play not so exceptional (when you get a call it will often be a coin flip except against very bad players who dont know SAGE) If you raise preflop you have to commit to the hand unless you are incredibly incredibly deep stacked (1000+???) Maybe a math person could answer this question. I'm not sure.

At microstakes middle set is an instant call. Probably even at the higher stakes as well. People just shove too much crap. And if they are shortstacked they should be shoving fairly often. I often shove flush draws, sets, two pair, top pair top kicker. I shove whenever I think I have the best hand pretty much. But I don't player anything higher than 50 bb. I don't like deepstack poker.

Edit: Just saw you had 100 BB. I don't feel like doing the math but I think I'm calling most of the time anyway, just because so many people push crap when they shouldn't. Again, I don't play deepstack. But you can figure the math out for yourself. It's more instructive that way.

You shouldn't be playing nl10 let alone nl50. Seriously (the other nl50 players will disagree for obvious reasons)

See if you even consider folding here then it's obvious that you'll be folding so often to aggression that it will be easy to exploit.

A LAG who wants to fold the second nuts to a raise. Does not compute.

Move down, ideally to 5NL at the highest.

Kinda tilted at this wall of text for such a simple spot.

When he bet the flop you raised, you didn't re-raise. You can't re-raise if he hasn't raised.

Also, don't min raise the flop, make it something like $4-4.50.

Call turn every time and be happy about it.

I know. This whole hand is ridiculous tbh
Why the **** are people talking like a highstakes player would be able to magically change the board or something. They get 2 cards just like everyone else

Like someone else said, if you're even thinking about not getting your money in here, then poker isn't the game for you

If you ever do that then please tell me how you achieved it.

Wow beginners forum is so fun. I want to play in games where people consider folding the 2nd nuts.
