Ok so I just finished up my first micro session +$3.09.. success.. but I definitely made some mistakes and I basically knew I was making them while I was making them.. mostly impatient mistakes which I am going to definitely work on.

So I'll start with my most lost hand.. I know I played it badly.. but I really didn't put him on a flush.. he was 49/2 so he liked to see a lot of flops..

Even though I finished my session in the + I am not overly satisfied by my play tonight.. I will improve though!

You know I just realized this is most definitely in the wrong section -.- could a mod move it when they get a chance?

With the first hand, i would of folded to the turn raise. At the micros, any time someone is showing strong aggression, its really time to give up the hand, unless you have the nuts.

In the last hand 3bet way more with KK, make it $0.30 instead, min 3bet is terrible when this deep. Good luck progressing

Yeah, check out baluga theorem. Basically aggression on turn from a loose/passive means TPTK hand is no good.

pretty much this, from what ive gathered at 2NL most people will only raise with the nuts, most of the time they are just calling weak hands trying to see a showdown..and yeah your 3bet with KK was way too low lol

Your bet sizing needs work and you need to not be results oriented. I bet you don't question the aq hand if you win. Also don't post results, it taints the replies.....but congrats on booking a win

I would have folded TPTK to most people I just didn't believe this guy.. I will revise this thought next time though

Before you do something, say out loud to yourself WHY you are doing it. You will catch yourself doing a lot more things that in a snap decision you overlook. You could have saved some good dough I think if you would have talked out loud to yourself.

Also, never post conclusions. End those hands the moment everyone is all in. Don't post anything that comes after that because it doesn't matter. The only things that matter are what comes before the betting has stopped.

Everyone else has said good stuff too. Especially bet sizing.

on the first hand, 3bet your hand. 3bet in micro limit helps the fishes from calling stupid hands like K2 suited. If they do call, then evaluates from post flop.

from the looks of it, your bet sizing is all wrong. you need some work on it if you want to move up on limits

Hand 1: I would have bet more on the flop. Sure someone could have a flush already, but more likely they are drawing to one. Maybe about $0.15. Fold turn. When you are raised on the turn, most often it means that the lowest hand they could have is top pair good kicker. Now your hand is at the very bottom of his range, and with this board, i would doubt that any one pair hand is in his range at all.

Hand 2: I probably fold that preflop. KJ is pretty weak to call a raise with. Anyway, after the flop, you played ot pretty well. Maybe the bet on the turn could be smaller, but with the double flush draw and multi-way pot, a pot sized bet is fine.

Hand 3: Why the min-raise preflop? I'd make that at least $0.20.

3 betting AQ in the micros to an EP raise is going to cost you a lot of chips in the long run.

I do agree that the biggest flaw in all of these hands are his choice of bet sizes.
