BUBBLE WAS TOP 6TH. SO, WAS SHORTEST STACK IN FINAL TABLE OF 7 PEOPLE LEFT WITH 8 BIG BLINDS LEFT.. HAD A GOOD HAND LIKE A-Q SUITED , HAD TO GO ALL IN 2 PLAYERS CALLED. . SO NOW ITS 3-WAY ALL IN. COMMUNITY CARDS DEALT, LOST TO A PAIR OF KINGS. 2 OF US BUSTED OUT, AND I WON MY HAND AGAINST THE OTHER GUY. IT ENDED UP ME BEING 7TH PLACE?? CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME THE RULES ON ONLINE TOURNAMENTS AND ON LIVE TOURNAMENTS REGARDING THIS MATTER? THANKS.

Turn caps lock off.
If your chips are like this :
Villian have 6000 with KK
Villian 2 have 5500 with AJ
Hero have 5000 with aq.

And the kings hold up, does he have the best hand and the most chips he takes all.
Even though aq beat aj doesent it beat KK?
Hope it helps.

When you and another player bust out at the same time the higher place goes to the higher chip syack of the 2 that busted out. Since your chip stack was lower you got 7th and he got 6th

shouldn't that rule be amended? I say, higher rank/place goes to the winner of the hand. IMO

you lose. you had less chips... not a new rule... its pretty simple.

In the case that two players are knocked out at the same time in a tournament the player with the most chips will get the higher ranking in the tournament.

by that rationale or logic if you had not even the big blind left in your hand on the big blind and u have A 3o, villain 1 has AA and 50,000 chips, and villain 2 has KK and 45,000 chips and an Ace falls without a king falling giving you the 2nd best hand then you should get the higher place then KK.

what don't you understand? you lost the hand... you had the smallest chips, so your 7th. there is no 2nd place in hand.

now here is some food for thought..........

player 1, stack 30,000

player 2, stack 12,000

player 3, stack 12,000

blinds 1000/2000, player 2 shoves allin from the button with QQ, player 1 in small blind calls with AA and player 3 also calls allin with QQ. the aces then hold up leaving player 1 to win the tournament and players 2 and 3 both get knocked out on the bubble with the same stack sizes and holding the same hand!

BOOM now theres a cheeky one

In that case it may go to the best hand of the 2 who went out who were tied?

In that case I'm pretty sure that the players who lost would just chop up the prize money.

In the event of simultaneous elimination, the player with the largest chip stack at the start of the hand is ranked highest. If the chip stacks are the same then the players are ranked equally.

They would most like chop.

Either that or engage in mortal kombat.

This happened to me at Foxwoods once (me and another person eliminated on the bubble with identical stacks), floor was called and made us engage in mortal kombat - he sucked out on me with runner runner cheap uppercuts, knew he won but still hit me with a fatality - classless imo
