Playing a regular MTT micro on GG with 30bb stack, after this hand I left table feeling an idiot.

Can anyone there tell me if this is a standard situation on MTT micro or if has a better strategy to follow in hands like that ?

Well, when I 4bet shove on flop, I was thinking something like, as long vilain has almost 2x my stack it is trying to put me preasure or, he hit one pair holding something like KJ KT maybe JT, when vilain just flat me pré flop, I remove AK from his range.

I'm asking for myself if fold after his 3bet on flop was best decision, because in this micro MTT people is value betting most of the time, so he know that I decent hand plus people don't know fold (me?) so when he 3bet me he is 100% expecting me to call him, I don't know.

Are you tell me call in his 3bet on flop is a better option ?

Calling the shove is not a very interesting decision to me. Getting the chips in with a good hand while short stacked can't ever big a huge mistake. If you knew his exact hand calling is -1770 chips.

Whenever you put chips in the pot there should be a reason. Of course the most basic reasons are to get your opponent to call with a worse hand or to fold a better hand. On the flop when he raises you he is likely to have one of three types of hands:

1) A good made hand probably along the lines of KT or better. If you are beat then obviously you don't want to push but it does not matter because he is putting you all in on a later street and you are likely calling.

If you are ahead of KJ or KT will he call if you push? Probably but you can always get it in later. It's costly though if villain ever folds to your push when he would have happily pushed the turn himself.

2) He has a good straight or flush draw. He is calling your push because it is not a lot of chips so you cannot protect your hand. If you just call he could check the turn behind which is not ideal but may also get him to bluff the river. The situation where I really wan to push here is against a villain who both will check the turn if he misses and won't bluff the river.

3) He he bluffing with air or some weak hand such as J9 or QT. Here we don't want to blow him away but instead let him continue to bluff.

Because when you are way ahead villain is not calling very often and when you are way behind villain is always calling.

Maybe if you had put in a normal raise pre, rather than that pathetic barely more than minraise, the SPR would be such that getting it in on the flop when we hit top pair is completely standard rather than being deeper where we only ever get called by better

1) It's ok to min pre.

2) Just call the flop. I think the money is going in either way otf or later.
