Stats from blitz NL10 from Americas Cardroom. Is this normal?


I feel like I am going to lose my mind completely. I have never ever felt so helpless and I have been playing poker for 16 years. I mean I have lost almost all big pots recently (last 35k hands or so) when I am big favorite.

I never believed things being rigged but I almost want to fold preflop all in with AA and fold flopped top sets or nuts. I feel like I should have been up 50 buyins but lost about 50 buyins and this is driving me crazy. I mean 110k hands and the software tells me I have no huge leaks except playing timid from SB.

Please comment if you know anything about stats before I stop poker completely and break my computer.

I played Americas Cardroom for about a week before I uninstalled and went elsewhere. Too many times to count where it just wasn't right.
I checked Youtube afterwards and there is a lot of content on it. Not all bad. But my experience wasn't pleasant.

This has nothing to do with tilt or playing bad. I am asking statistically if this a normal swingown.

It's not normal in that you'd expect to see it 50% of the time or more but it isn't anywhere close to impossible.

Let's say your WR is 2bb/100, your obsereved winrate is -2.6bb/100 and your sd is about 100bb/100 (I assume this is a slightly cautious sd).

There is just over a 7% chance that you run at your observed winrate or less over 100k hands if your winrate is 2bb/100. Your probability of having lost money after 100k hands is 26%.

110k is just last 2 months or so. I have played many many more hands than that. I probably netted $30k playing recreationally last 16 years. Never seen anything remotely close to what's been happening to me last two weeks.

We are talking about -20bb/100 and all I do is calling with nuts. Going all in AA pre or flopped nuts etc... (I am not even talking about KK QQ AK pre or 2nd third nuts on flops. I have accepted the fact that I am going to lose them
for sure)

I am so frustrated last two weeks losing 10 buyins every single session. I look back my hands and see things like guys jamming over 200bb over my standard half pot cbet on dry J hi brd with 88 while I have to call him with QQ because he is a maniac. So many more examples and I am not here for sutpid bad beat ****. I hate beat beat stories. I have always hated.

So this is normal and I shouldn't worry. I guess I am not losing my mind than this is pterry legit downswing I have never experienced. Lol.

You really do need to take a break though because saying stuff like I know I'm going to lose AA all in pre or top set on the flop is ridiculous.

Unless poker is your main income just take a break and study rather than play. That will hopefully improve your win rate when you start again as apposed to playing in a weaker mental state that will negatively impact your win rate.
