Is there a good section here [or elsewhere] that discusses equity and ranges...and how to use that info correctly to play optimal poker?

There's a section in the 2+2 book Professinal No Limit Holdem called R.E.M. (Range, Equity, Maximise) which basically talks about putting players on a range of hands, working out what equity you have and how to maximise value.

I'm reading Professinal No Limit Holdem at the moment, great book!

If you dont have it you can google a site called "thepokerbank" and they cover it also
