nl5 6max

Situation: I raised 3x from BTN, CO, MP in last three hands (none of them went to show down) after doing almost nothing but folding for 4-5 rounds (card dead).

In the current hand I picked up AJo on UTG.

Although the reality was I had legitimate hands for my 3 consecutive raise, I suspected people at the table were ready to play back, thinking I loosened up because I got tired.

Should I tighten up and fold AJo (weak hand in UTG raising range) for that reason? I actually opened 3x again and fold to 7bb 3-bet from CO (who played tight in this session).

i wouldn't, at 5nl people will:

a) not be paying attention, or
b) only be paying attention through huds so short term stuff is irrelevant

Why do you suspect this?

If players are aware enough to notice this (at 5NL they're not) then they're also aware enough to know the difference between a steal and a UTG open.
