I'd call because the tiny river bet looks weak

reason i bet so small is because i figured he was chasing a flush draw or JQ and figured i might get some money from him with a small bet if he picked up a pair while chasing the flush.

If you thought he was on a draw then just check/call the river.

saying it's a fold really doesn't progress anything at all. For all i know you could be -$50,000 at 2nl. Provide reasoning so next time I'm in this situation i know why i should fold. As opposed to thinking "some guy named NeverWin says i should fold... INSTAFOLD" ya dig?

that would have been a better route, i just wanted to get value if he hit a pair, but regardless, c/c is def more +ev here

Betting is definitely more +EV. Don't go overboard bluffcatching with overpairs. Make a decent sized bet.

I would have to know the opponent to tell you the correct decision, but that small bet made your decision a lot tougher since he could think your weak. You should have just made a 2/3 pot size bet on the river unless you wanted/expected him to raise this bet. Also, how has your opponent been responding to small bets? You also triple barreled which usually means strength, so I doubt he thinks you are weak. It looks like a fold, but it is tough to say since I never played vs the opponent.

10s,9s maybe less because you prolly have a lot of draws in your range that would triple barrel here.

Actually i called, and he flipped 78. Evitoo, in his great insight, unveiled my secret agenda that this was a bad beat sympathy thread. clown.

But combat as for the hands you listed, at 10nl i would expect people to raise those top-pair hands most of the time, putting them out of the picture for the most part since he called flop and turn. Although expecting anything at 10nl is kinda a lost cause imo haha.

I like your point here, 3 barreling does show a lot of strength and if i had gotten raised from a 2/3 pot bet it would be a clear fold as opposed to my bet which left me wondering "could he be making a play at me?"
