My first post.

I am a 2-5 NL player in Florida and the law just changed last july from max $100 buyings to $200-$500. So basically I have only a few months of deepstack experience.

I find myself more cautious and passive when I have +$1000/200bb in front of me, but I am the opposite when I have less than 200bb. Maybe it's because I am not comfortable playing that deep and to be frank a lil scared. BTW I am bankrolled enough so that's not an issue have built it up to more than 100 BI. I wouldn't mind trying out the 5-10nl but I have to overcome this issue first.

What can I do to overcome this issue? Thanks for your advice.

Yeah I live in Florida too and I am still adjusting. There are deepstack videos that should help.

Just try to keep your eye on the prize, their whole stack. Start thinking more along the lines of what kind of hands will win a $2000 pot and how you're gonna get it, i.e. flushes/straights/sets. Widen your range because it will be worth it to hit with a hand like Q7s or 24s. The deeper you get the looser you should play. Since the goal is to hit monsters your fear will fade once you realize that these are all hands easy to get away from. You dont want to be getting it in for 300BB's with AK and QQ and stuff. Play them, but exercise pot control if anything seems suspicious at all. It's ok to miss a little value than to valuetown yourself when you have to check/call with AK on a KJ8TJ river.
