      You're probably running hot. From what I've heard, micro HU limit is a rake trap.

          I have no reads on villain. The fold looks fine to me since the flush draw got here and any 5 or 8 beats me.

          What do you guys think about it? Is that fold too tight?

          Thanks in advance for the feedbacks!

          H1 - Raise more pre as you're OOP Vs 2 fish, 30-35c is good. I think river is x/fold. You're only getting value from the lower PPs, and he'll likely bet any hand that beats you at this point. I think 8x raises somewhere before the river, so I'd expect to see a decent amount of nut hands on this riv card. It sucks, but think that's the best play here imo.

          H2 - Fold pre. I understand villain is a fish (whom you have terrible position on btw) but this hand is going to be difficult to play OOP without good postflop reads. Bottom of my calling range here is prob KTs, ATo etc until I know how villains plays post. You should at least get a good note from what he showed up with that tells you how he plays that hand type, having checked back flop

          H3 - X/fold flop. Yeah it sucks, but you hate too many turn cards to be able to play this profitably OOP

          H4 - have you got a thing with calling OOP with Axs and Kxs? Only asking, coz if you do you need to get out of that habit. 3bet or fold pre. Considering villain has played zero hands so far I'd lean to a fold here

          @Totch
          I think you could check back turn tbh. He'll never fold 8x, and everything else just got there, so you're betting for value against TT/JJ (if he doesn't 3bet pre with them). If villain then checks riv you can maybe thin vbet although I'd prefer check down and hoping to be good. Considering villain was passive pre, he could even be checking a flush on the rivered boat
          12-06-2013 , 03:23 PM
          @Dunna100

          Yeah, you're right about the position thing. Just trying to figure out a good range to defend in the blinds when it's either a min raise open or close to it. Until I figure it out then I guess 3bet or fold is the superior play. Cheers!
          12-06-2013 , 08:01 PM
          I guess that's it for me for the year.

          98<AA on 99x. TT<AA on T9x/x, T9s<AA on JT9r, AA/KK<QQ numerous times. JJ<QTdd on QJx where they runner runner a flush. Set over set in a 3b pot, etc etc
          This month is becoming unbearable. There's definitely been hands where I've felt I've played ridiculously bad, but to get the money in good a fair amount of the time and then lose is beyond comprehension at times.

          Also, who the F 3bet/calls off 88 here?

              Currently more or less on track for the goal of moving to 10nl by the end of the month thanks to some rungood at 4nl over the past week. Managed to donk away a buyin at the end of todays session though so I'm only break even today.

              Take a look at the awful play below. Still not entirely sure what I was thinking calling that river shove. I used to call these all the time then snapped out of it, but still seem to have the occasional relapse.

              Hey everyone - I've been enjoying reading through your posts while in the midst of a frustrating -EV month. Definitely enjoy and appreciate the commentary. I've decided to try to make the transition from FR to 6Max over the next while. I'm enjoying some success so far this month. Have been really focussing on making a plan for the rest of the hand once a flop comes up (and sticking to it). I'm sure this is really very basic stuff but that will be my main focus for the month. I've been enjoying 6Max a lot more than FR at this point. Hope everyone has a great month!

              Oly talk to me on skype please, I'll watch you sweat you some sessions on skype and we'll talk through stuff (if you like).

              You're doing really strange **** you don't have to do (we all do it at times). Like seriously you know enough about poker to beat 10nl normal you just do so much stupid **** and it's got to be down to your thought process because when I've spoke to you about stuff when you're actually thinking rather than playing you're ok.

              Like seriously please ask me **** on skype at least. My door is open for you to ask. I hate saynig stuff like that as I know I'm meh myself but even the process of talking through hands will help.

              I've been meaning to but just haven't spent much time on Skype recently. I think for the most part while playing my thought process always comes back to what hands I beat, rather than what part of Villain's range has me beat. I always convince myself to call because of that in certain spots.

              I'll be in touch MMSS. Gonna take a couple days off to cool off I think.

              Also, seems I'm losing most at FR. No more FR for me!

              @thedrbilo
              1) probably fine
              2) fold pre, bet more ott/otr, river call is probably fine
              3) wp
              4) fold/3b pre, mostly fold though, I think we can call the turn, there are a lot of draws he could be barreling and if were behind we have decent equity/implied odds as both draws arent super obvious
