Yeah I know, but I'm just trying to ease you down a bit to prevent tilt

This conversation really should have happened in another thread.

Also from what I've gathered you should pretty much never play this high as you don't really seem to know what you're doing. Please don't piss the money away by moving up in stakes when you finally do cash, maybe move up one stake and just withdraw the rest and treat yourself

edit - gl taking it down though.

I know it's appreciated dude
it was just one of those 4 out of 10 times :P

12-08-2013 , 11:10 PM
Nice run bro I'd withdraw all that then go back to the stakes you were at!

Any reason why when I convert hands stats don't show up? I copy with stats in HM2 and see it when I paste it into the HHC, but once converted the stats disappear. I'm looking through this thread and it seems like only PT4 converting includes stats.

Use www.handconverter.com then paste the text here. That works with HEM2's stats.
12-09-2013 , 12:19 AM
Awesome thanks that did the trick Also is there a way to quick reply with the hand converter? Or do we always have to go advanced?
12-09-2013 , 12:39 AM
Seems like we can only do it through advanced.

Also, the power of checking.

Alright, it looks like that's going to be it for me. The downswong has taken another victim.

I tried coming back strong, I played playing tighter and making less river calls, but the variance has been too much and has sucked up my BR. I'd much rather enjoy good health than be so worrisome about whether the next session I'll play will have me losing... again.

Poker definitely seems like a good game but I just can't grasp it at my current skill level. My mental capacity to put up with having people do the strangest, most confusing, idiotic stuff that you wouldn't see anywhere but at the microstakes and get rewarded for it has been stretched thin. It's all well and good when you're on the right side of variance, but when somebody hits their minuscule amount of outs it does get pretty infuriating.

I'm probably going to forfeit my $50 bonus, despite having so little grinding to go before I unlock it. Just doesn't seem as though any grinding I will do will be enjoyable for myself or my bank account.

So, until we meet again, best of luck at the tables everyone. I wish you all the best for the new year.
    12-09-2013 , 03:32 AM
You can still climb out of this downswing for the month IMO. Just take a couple of days off, study your HH's maybe and come back when you feel totally fresh and ready to take on poker again, not anytime sooner. Not trying to force you into anything of course, but I think some time studying your HH's for leaks extensively will do you some good
Whatever your choices are GL bro

Any thoughts on these? Esp. h3 i would like some feedback.
On the other hand, would you recommend playing on Pokerstars or microgaming with 30% rakeback? I don't have much volume atm so i wonder if i'm benefitting at all from pokerstars bonuses.

        @tankz:

H1 I xb flop but it's close. I also think it's a really standard flat pre bvb.
H2 I 3b or fold pre as a standard but flatting is fine with a fish in the BB. X/f river.
        H3 I'd probably cbet with a GS+over.
