SnG accumulator in da pub - €10 entry fee - no rake.

Week 1: 1st place 10 points €40
Week 2: 2nd place 8 points €00
Week 3: 1st place 10 points €40
Week 4: 1st place 10 points €40

8 players per table. 1st place gets 10 points and wins €5 per person at table. Each person puts €5 behind bar every week (approx 30 players 30 x €5 x 4weeks = €600) for final next thursday 30+ players.

Me: 38 points 1st place = 38,000 chips for final, approx 30 players start.

Last memory last night.. chowing hot pizza in city centre.. taxi home?

Pub drunkamnets are such joy

nice work

i can only wish we could play pub poker for money in australia. all we have are crappy free pub leagues where the winner of a 40 player tourney wins a $50 voucher and points for the league. pretty much the only way to actually profit at them is to not spend any money at the pub (thats cheap and uncool or to luckbox your way through thousands of players in the end of year tourney. lame.

illegal to play for monies in the pub in Oz? (my brother lives in Perth - strong connections with the land of Oz our family has)

I spent last October through Feburary living in Sydney (Amazing city!). I played in those pub tournaments at least twice a week. Sometimes I would stick around for cash games afterwords. I won three of those tournaments and got about $100 cash (went right to the bar) and a WSOP qualifier ticket each time. Played in the end of the month tournament (didn't cash) it was a lot of fun.

I wish the states did poker at pubs.

Some states do. Mostly those without casinos/poker rooms nearby. You can probably Google-find some stuff.

I take that back.

You are right because I have played in one in VA. But it was a freeroll that gives you points depending on where you place and then at the end of the month something happend really lame happend...I dunno but I wasn't impressed. I think the winner also got a $25 bar tap or something

No cash prize=GTFO

Then again, it wasn't meant for serious players who really wanted to win. It was just a fun thing for friends to get together and do.
