Hey David Is it too late to click the button??

How've ya'll been?
11-02-2010 , 06:45 PM
Ginaaaaaaaaaaaaaa how's it going?
11-02-2010 , 06:53 PM
Ice!! It's going great

I'm engaged- we would've got married last summer, but since we've both got a history of liking to jump from airplanes, we're looking forward to a crazy wedding/honeymoon at Vegas next year. Maybe I'll actually get to play poker again, eh?

Actually I sat at a table- just a penny table- a couple times in the past month, and won and lost the same 5 bux a few times. I think I've lost my patience for playing the game.

Are there any of those beginner tables/games for nlhe going this week? Those used to be a lot of fun.

Voted for Vampy's idea. My Stud Triple Draw idea was apparently so lame they didn't even bother mocking it

I've never had anything against Valdes, but that "tackle" was dirty as hell. Pretty sure that would have been a red card in the other end of the pitch.

ps...

Won an EPT?? Big congratulations!!

I've read the forum intermittently and have seen that Sput has had some successes as well. It's great to hear you guys are doing so well.

valdes and de jong should have a tackle-off imo

I am a livepro now obv, especially since my laptop is kinda ****ed (although it is working right now for internet etc, not really fit to play on though) and I am gonna have to wait like 3 weeks for the desktop I ordered to come. lol cash player playing MTTs. I am prepared for luckbox.

This training is an absolute joke, sit for 5hours in silence reading pages and pages of bs, then a 10min recap at the end.

I must be ******ed or something as none of the info sinks in until the recap at the end, waste of 5 hours imo.

Optimal learning strategy would be to read for forty minutes, then recap for twenty, then move on.

I seem to learn more when the guy demonstrates things for the group and we take our own notes. This reading silently for 5hours stuff just tilts me.

Refresh my memory...what's the training for?
11-03-2010 , 10:18 AM
Apple stuff isn't it ?

Selling point - this is really shiny, all your friends will be envious

11-03-2010 , 10:19 AM
oh yeah, why do you need training? I thought their products were meant to be easy to use. Can you get me some discounted stuff? I heard the staff discount was something like 30%.

THIS

Apple training....

If they are older than 25 call them 'Sir' or 'Madame' and make sure to speak clearly...the elderly are hard of hearing.
Make sure all products are sufficiently buffed and waxed.
When in doubt, put 'i' in front of whatever you are about to say.
Laugh at the customer...make sure it is clear that you are not laughing WITH them.
Reassure them that their friends will too be envious of the hidden fees.
If the store is not filled to at least 90% capacity at all times you may be required to take off your name tag and walk around like a customer.
11-03-2010 , 11:37 AM
Technical advisor for the iPhone, we don't get any discount unfortunately. They bought us all pizza though.

The training is bs tbh, apparently 82% of apple customers think your tone of voice is more important than the words you use.

now stfu and get back to your reading
