Hopefully I wont get a warning for another stupid question, but I am a beginner. And the q4 question was an honest question btw, not trolling.

I wanted to know if anyone else reraises a pot after a reraise just to build a big pot and see hands shove it all in preflop. I done this when on tilt, and just folded after the shoves. If nobody shoves sometimes I get lucky and win a big pot, but most of the time theres a shove or another big raise where I just fold and enjoy the action.

Still working on my tilting, just wondering if I'm the only evil guy doing this preflop...

Are you asking, does anyone else 4bet/fold preflop?

The answer to that is yes, but don't do it because you're tilting, do it because the situation looks profitable. Judging by your post, you should give it a miss for now.

Erm.. wow... Are you even thinking why you are re-raising. Are you thinking about position, your equity, what's on the table, the people that are still in the pot, their play style... Anything at all?

Why are you even trying to analyse your hands when you are on tilt? You need to learn to stop when you even think you are tilting, not try and play on.

I don't know if you are considering any of the factors i've mentioned and a whole load i've not put in there but you really need to take a step back and start with the basics again. Try reading some books or watching some videos or something.

Apologies in advance if you do do all this but your posts don't indicate you are, particularly with the Q4 question still hanging over you. Sounds more like you are playing bingo.

Saying that I've just had a quick scan of your previous threads and so many comments worth quoting but ones such as ' 3,700 bankroll to 1,600 plaing 1/2nl, in a month.' really ring alarm bells. You are just going about it all wrong...

I then read your thread on your gambling below..

I really think the best advice you've been given is the one at the bottom of that thread....

You should never gamble on anything ever again.
I'm thinking you are heading for a serious problem.........

"Pretty much" is an understatement. The odds of winning on frequent -EV gambles in the long run is unfathomably close to zero (equivalent to winning many powerball jackpots in a row). And if you lived forever, it would literally be zero. So it's not a question of if you go broke, but if you go broke before you die (and if you don't, that almost certainly means you died young).

So yes, you should quit those other forms of gambling (and if you have trouble quitting, you know there's a number to call). Possibly poker too, unless you can be disciplined about choosing stakes and controlling tilt (which so far you haven't been). There's no shame in finding a different hobby. Maybe you should create a thread (idk which forum) where you give poker updates and ask whether you should quit, since I don't know of an official "Should I quit poker" thread. (Instead, we have a thread full of run-gooders and play-chip phenoms asking "Should I go pro?")
