A Couple of Quick Theory Questions. A Couple of Quick Theory Questions.

I was wondering about a couple of scenarios, if you have suit hole cards and you flop a flush when it comes down monotone, what is the probability that an opponent also has a flush?

My second question is if playing a multiway hand if you can assume opponent ranges are blocking each other? For example UTG raises and and there are 3 callers in late position, action comes around to you in the blind, can we assume we have higher equity with weaker hands against these callers because its likely a few of them have A blockers against eachother?

Thanks
buzz.

1: 2,6% of a 100% range. It's a useless stat because this isn't how it works, it depends on the percentage of hands people play, how many opponents and their positions as well as the kind of action that has been going on preflop.

2: Yes. Pretty sure you can get like 0,4% extra equity or something like that. Again it's a pretty useless stat because it's never going to be on the tipping point of a decision. You're never going to fold with 20,3% equity when you were calling with 20,5% equity.

Thanks. Yeah I figured they were maybe a bit of a long shot for application. The main reason I asked was just because I was curious

Id guess about one percent of the times I've flopped a flush my heads up opponent has had one too.

If you bet and he folds, the chance he flopped a flush is pretty close to zero. If he raises you all in, his chance is a little bit bigger.

Generally speaking, you should presume your flush is good against his range if you flop it. But villain's actions may narrow/define his range.
