Is this a counterfeit? Is this a counterfeit?

Hopefully this is the right place for this question about poker terminology. In the below scenario can it be said that player A has been counterfeited?

Player A: KT

Player B: A5

Board: K A 3 3 T

Argument for: He has two pair using his hole cards but he is counterfeited by the two threes on the board meaning any A will beat him

Argument against: The T came on the river. He only had a single pair when the board paired meaning that he was not counterfeited by the board pairing

IMO, no, he was not counterfeited. The T would have had to be on board before the second 3.

Thanks for the replies. I don't think this is a counterfeit but came across a guy who is convinced that it is

In poker anyway, you need to have the best hand at some point in time in order to be counterfeit.

Getting '4-flushed' when you already held a flush .. yes, counterfeit

A Player making a higher straight on Turn or river .. yes, counterfeit

Typically it has to be the same type of hand also .. 2pr v 2 pr, flush v flush, FH v FH

While 'suckout' is universally recognized, there aren't too many Players that would call a Player filling up on the River 'counterfeiting' a made Turn flush., but to each their own. GL
