Unless you have a good read that CO is and agro tard, then fold to his flop raise.

Also when you post hands we need more info to give a qualifed answer.

A poker hand is not only about the cards.

Tell us about the other people in the hand, are the tight, pasive, agresive ?.
Have you seen any of them raise a CB often ?
Do they uasely just call when they hit 1 pair ?
Wich streets do they uasely raise their monsters on?
Do they bet or raise with their draws?
What is their opinion about you, do they see you as tight, or loose ?
Do they often call IP and float ?

All those questions, and many more are just as important as the hole cards you hold.

The actual hand it turns out CO was just a fish who got lucky on the river, and maybe you already had a good read on him, then its obvious you played the hand ok, and he just won it by being lucky.

However if its against unknown I think laying it down after his flop raise is the better play.

From reading the stickies in the MicroNL forum, I believe they are actually the opposite of what you said. I'm pretty sure that I read that you should treat unknowns at 2NL as fish since they outnumber the regs. I had 3 hands from villain when I played this hand so I didn't mention vpp pfr and af because of the lack of information. For the information that you asked for such as if i've seen them raise a cbet often... this is quite impossible to have all those reads since I 12 table and I use the normal HUD stats to make my reads on opponents and therefore do not have the time to look at all of the intricate details of each one. I believe this gives me more $/hour than if I were to 2 table and write down notes of how many times they raised a cbet and so on. I don't see how I can lay down TPTK against an unknown on 2NL but thats just my opinion and also my knowledge gained from reading the stickies.

But you will become a better player & learning faster if you play fewer tables, but pay more attention to your oponents.

A HUD is a big help, but taking notes is esential and learning the tendancies of your oponents is very important too.

Treating unknows as fish is a real bad thing. Always give unknows the benefit of the doubt.

This spot is hardly + EV over a large sample.

I dont want to offend you, but calling here is very level 1 thinking.

You must asume here that villain puts you on holding a Q, and yet he is villing to raise.

You will also be OOP for the rest of the hand. The is not a single card in the deck wich will make you more comfortable if he conteniues agresion on later streets. While there are many that will make your hand even worse and harder to play on.

In fact if you really belive you are ahead here, you should RR his flop raise, or raise him later in the hand.

Playing in the dark, and hoping you have the best hand is in general not very good.

It turns out here he was a tard, but if you are not able to lay down TPTK, it is going to hurt yor win rate.

Try and go into your DB and filter for all hands where you flopped TPTK, and was raised on the flop. I doubt if you have a meaningfull sample, that you are positive here

at 0.01/0.02 personally I wouldn't be recommending folding to a flop raise on that board. People are getting it in way too often with and Queen.

I'm not folding to that flop raise with TPTK to an unknown at 2NL, ever. I'm perfectly happy to say at a higher standard game it may be the best move and certainly there are some 2NL players that you should fold to in that situation. But an unknown? No sir.
