Hey, a few days ago Brad Owen posted this video on YT:

where Doug Polk booked 40% of his action.

How does that deal work? Doug gets 40% of all winnings of the session, right? What would have happened if Brad had lost? Would Doug have to refund him 40% of the losses?

Yes .. That's pretty much how it works. Doug is on the hook to cover 40% of any losses while potentially reaping 40% of any profit with 'no work' involved.

I don't remember the exact numbers but I think Brad basically doubled up from his 40k starting stack up to 88k, so Brad will hand over around 20k to Doug at some point in time.

Also, Brad had 100k to work with for this session .. if he had lost it all then Doug would've covered 40k of that. GL
