Agreed, but that just makes it even better. They're letting Arsenal play a bit though.
02-16-2011 , 06:16 PM
Gunners got completely trashed first half. I think they had a slight edge second half and thanks to a lol@valdes we take the lead in the first leg.

The confidence from this will be huge for the late EPL season too. ManU better not leave any points on the field.

Ice caught me lazy-linking eh? :P

I don't mind lazy linking (even though I should).. since I usually do it too... but it wasn't working.. so I tried to fix it.. it worked for a bit and then stopped working. At that point I said the hell with it and put it on imageshack.

you should use imgur, just right click on a pic and you can upload it and copy the link to the clipboard.

Obviously going out would take priority as id rather be able to walk home from a night out then get a taxi home for 15miles

any input is appreciated - although ill probably research teh bee's advice as he will send me somewhere united based

There's a bar called Dukes92 where me and my friends always meet up - nice atmostphere, defo and early lunch time kind of place, and a few other bars round there too. Doesn;t take long to walk in to the City where there's a million pubs.

Loads of bars near China Town, and tonne of strip joints. There's one called Long Legs which is alright but all the dances are out in the open and it's pretty small. Baby Platinum is much better.

There is an awesome karaoke joint in China Town, can;t remember the name of it but it's funny as hell/. My mate wanted to go there so we bowled up and there's loads of people there. They said it was £200 to get in which worked out a tenner each, and you get your own room for however long you want, a tonne of free drinks, then when you've had enough there's a night club on one of the floors. Super weird though when you're not exoecting what it's like. Massive chinese doormen wandering around on the various floors. Half expected the typical cleaver wielding moustachioed bloke that's in every kung-fu film to appear from somewhere at any time.

Or if you're flashing the cash head down to deansgate.

Don't stay anywhere near the stadium. It's better round there than it was a few years ago, but it's still like the wild west tbh.

I would just stay in one of the cheap hotel chains - there are loads of them round the city centre like premier inn, holiday inn express etc. Prob best just getting something through laterooms or similar.

Northern quarter is really good for loads of pubs & bars of all kinds. Canal street is actually really good (no I'm not GOS).

Don't think the side event list has been released yet, if it has i can't find it. There's usually a £100+15 event or similar. normally on day 1B, for the degens who get knocked out on day 1A.

I'm spending too much time trying to sat in for the ME atm. Maybe I should concentrate on playing real poker?
