When someone is referring to the action to "check-raise" or "check-bet" someone such as this example
"Instead if you check called and check/raised the turn all in this would allow an opponent to double barrel a hand such as AK"

does that mean you check-they bet-you call or you check-they raised-you called? im kinda confused about this, if someone could evaluate much appreciated!

If someone could also help explain more closely what a
TAG player or LAG player is or does(i know its tight aggressive or loose aggressive but what exactly does that mean?)

Check/call (sometimes written as c/c) means you check, they bet, you call.

Check/raise (sometimes written as c/r) means you check, they bet, you raise.
