I have 2100 hands in and I am up 10 buy ins at 50 nl....is this average? below average?

Great start, but 2100 hands is a tiny sample size so don't get too full of yourself. You will not maintain that winrate in the long run, or anything close to it. You may or may not be a winning player long term, really hard to tell from so few hands. Still, you're off to a great start.

IMO you should drop to Nl10 play 10K hands if you win then repeat at NL25 but I am always on the conservative side of things. BTW good players usually win 10 Buy-ins / 10K hands that is 5 PTBB/100 hands.
