Buy in full? Buy in full?

I'm rolled for $50 at the moment for 2nl, that's 25 BIs. I need that amount because I'm an idiot tilt monkey.

However I always hear "buy in full", which at 2nl is $5. How much value am I giving up by only buying in for 100bb at 2nl compared to 250bb and how might buying in for $5 effect variance at the stupid micros?

Advice appreciated

"Full" means 100 big blinds. At 2NL, full would be $2. More than $2 would be deepstacked. If you are comfortable playing deep, you can potentially win more money from other deepstacked players at the table, but your max is still, of course, the size of the stack of the opponent you're in a given hand with.

I would say always having a "full" stack of 100BB's is a must. As well as always auto-topping before the next hand. Most sites will do this for you if you have it set up in your options but if not make sure to do it yourself.....

Definitely +1 to the above and I think you should definitely let the size of your BR dictate your buy-in. With a $50 roll I think buying in for $2 makes sense, but if your BR grows you could up the buy-in amount.
