I got him all in about 10 times and he never missed, i got him down to 200 chips about 5 times im so tilting right now lmfao.

at this point i have finally started to play at the 5nl tables

i don't have pokertacker at the moment (trial ran out) so i can't post any graphs

my plan is to grind out 5nl the same way that i did at 2nl

once i'm up 50 buy-ins or 1 month, whichever comes first, i'll review and evaluate

hopefully i'll see 10nl next month!

That's probably what I'll end up doing in just a bit, I was thinking 15 buyins to move up and 12 or so to move down. And then I'll probably start adding in 3.25/45s in the next few sessions.

You can get the hem trial..that's only 15 days... but in 15 days you might win enough that you can take $55 and get the microstakes version of either pt3 or hem.

Lost a few buy ins to bad players who got lucky.

K10 vs K8 the guy shoved in with nothing but a backdoor flush and hit runner runner obviously.

Then i had a guy shove over my KK with 55 and board came 467 then rivered a 8

I agree with your idea.. but I would most certainly make an exception for hem or pt3... knowing your leaks and being able to fix them before getting out of the micros will save you (or make you) more than enough at the low stakes to make up for the withdrawal.

Just thought I'd say good luck guys, when I started playing I was inspired by GinaSD's threads and she got me building a roll from $20 at 2NL, stick at it and you'll be out of there in no time.

Ive read a few of the BR threads and ive turned $25 into $180 in about a week.
So its definatly possible.

Got absolutely raped today and yesterday. Lost a 500 bb pot when I misread my hand at 2nl playing when I knew I shouldn't have.. dropped a few sng's yesterday.. just ran like poo today basically.. meh happens. Probably my last session until next week Monday, since I'm out of town until Sunday.

Almost got my BR up to $200 then lost becuase of a suckout.

Got JJ someone shoved over me with 97, 9 was top pair and rivered a 7.
He had 4 outs becuase the board was flushing aswell and if he caught a 7 of hearts my Jh would of won.

Remember that the suckouts are what allows your roll to eventually grow since they don't always suckout on us (even though it seems like they do)

Did you lose all your br to suckout or just that 1 buyin?

Was aiming to make $100 today and got so close just lost another buy in after that, guy shoved over me pre-flop with 44 against my QQ and flop came 367 turned a 5 obviously.

I threw my hands up and left FT after trying to get rakeback for months. Deposited $100 on stars. My goals are to get that $100 deposit bonus, (if its going well I'll deposit more later since any deposits before January get a bonus) and clear 150FPP ASAP so I get a free copy of HEM. I would of course also like to make some money while I do this

I am playing both 2NL and $1+0.15 DON's currently. Heres my graphs so far.



Running good in the DoN's and the few 1 table SNG's I've played. Sucks to see that I'm doing better than I should be but whatever.



On the flip side I'm running a little under EV in cash, so I guess I'm about where I should be.

I plan to keep grinding these games until I hit $200, then I'll start playing NL5 and the $5.40 DON's. I know my sample size is tiny on stars, that will come with time.

i took 25$ and grinded 1/2NL til I got to $40 and grinded 4 tables of 5/10NL. once I got to $100, I grinded 4 tables of 25NL until I was up to like 400 than I took shots at 50NL and went up and down. I eventually played at 100NL and was beating it pretty well than I started playing bad and than I just ran into the worst bad beats and went $400 under EV and continued to play bad. and now i'm back at the botom grinding 10NL. as you can see, i don't excercise bankroll management and a 100k hands and 2k SNGs aren't in there but the point was, $25 can turn into whatever you want it to be, just keep at it. i took a 4 month break due to military duties and am working on my game now so i'll see you guys at 5nl or 10nl for a bit




also my red line is so far negative but my blue line steadily rises, i need to work on pickin right times for aggression

Dont get me wrong I'm happy I'm not running bad, but I'd be even more happy if I had just not been the underdog and had to suck out a couple times! I try and be happy when I make the right call, and sad when I make the wrong one regardless of how I run.

Started at $20 beginning of Sept. on FT , did Take 2 , up to $120 now, playing only 2NL six tabling. Not making tons but going up faster than variance can bring me down. Funny, I used to play way outside my bankroll and always bust. Im way happier grinding and feel like with BR management its almost impossible to go bust. When should I move up to 5NL?? Anybody successfully get rakeback with existing account lately??
